Start-Up

In 2009, our business started with only three people, and we decided to share various business news we could gather. The business was initially named "Bizblogger," but we later changed it to a more appealing name, "Businessocity" – combining business and society.

At the age of 17, the founder of Businessocity successfully managed to run the blog with his friends, earning more than they would from a part-time job at Subway. However, this success didn't last long as the "three people group" faced some monetary issues, leading to a breakup. Since we were all considering student loans, none of us wanted to lend money to each other. Additionally, the blog's statistics showed a decline in daily active users, and everything seemed to be going the wrong way. The old blog disappeared mysteriously, and we couldn't figure out what went wrong.

After working tirelessly at Walmart for days, an idea suddenly struck me when I turned 26. In 2018, I created something similar, and then the Covid-19 pandemic hit, causing more people to flock to the internet and care about online work and freelancing. This surge in interest enabled us to grow and become one of the biggest blogs in the industry.

As we embraced the opportunities brought by the pandemic, we focused on providing valuable and informative content to our readers. We expanded our team with passionate writers, analysts, and experts in various business fields, all driven by our shared vision of making Businessocity the go-to platform for business enthusiasts and professionals alike. Through dedication and relentless effort, we not only regained the lost audience but also attracted new users seeking insights into the rapidly evolving business landscape during these uncertain times.
